Leaked DOCOMO document says we’ll see a Samsung Galaxy Nexus II, LG Nexus, and Sony Nexus

Sunday, 26 August 2012

Multiple handset vendors make Android phones, but every year Google partners with one company to make a Nexus device. What’s a Nexus? It’s a piece of hardware that runs Android the way Google wants Android to run. No skins, no preinstalled applications, just pure Google software. The first Nexus device, appropriately called the Nexus One, was made by HTC. It launched in January 2010. Less than a year later, in December, Google announced the Samsung made Nexus S. The newest Nexus, known as the Galaxy Nexus, is also a Samsung made device. It was unveiled in October 2011 and then hit the market one month later.
The obvious question here is when are we going to see the next Nexus? Back in May there was an article published in The Wall Street Journal that said Google was going to try something different in 2012, they were going to work with several companies to release multiple Nexus phones. According to a leaked document from the Japanese operator DOCOMO, courtesy of the hilariously named Android Noodles, they’re going to be selling three Nexus phones this holiday shopping season. One is called the Samsung Galaxy Nexus II, the other is the LG Optimus Nexus, and finally there’s the Sony Xperia Nexus.
Yesterday the folks at SamMobile found a spec sheet for an upcoming Samsung device dubbed the GT-I9260. They say it’s going be the sequel to the Galaxy Nexus. It’ll have the same 4.65 inch 720p screen, but the processor is going to get bumped up to 1.5 GHz from 1.2 GHz, and the camera will also see an upgrade to 8 megapixels from 5 megapixels. There was also a discovery earlier this week by Neowin, who found that Google has added the Sony Xperia S to the Android Open Source Project.
What does this all mean? These can’t all be coincidences. Our gut says we are indeed going to see a whole range of Nexus phones get announced in just a few short months. When exactly? If we were Google, we’d want to have these phones out on the market in October to combat all the new iPhone hype.

() = Last month’s position.

Samsung S3 keeps the first place for the second consecutive month, at Krusell’s top seller list for July. The mix of brands that we have on the list this month, is a bit surprising, says Ulf Sandberg Managing Director at Krusell. This month we have four Sony units, after the entrance of the new Xperia Go on the list. My forecast for August is that we will still have Samsung in the lead one month a head, even if we already have started to receive pre-orders on the new iPhone model.

Spice Stellar Craze Launched, Steller Horizon Awaited Futers, Price Cost

Spice Stellar Craze Launched, Steller Horizon Awaited

Spice in the month of June announced their Stellar series, which comprised of Spice Stellar Horizon Mi-500, Spice Mi-425 and Spice Stellar Craze Mi-355. People were eagerly waiting for these Android based phones as Spice claimed them to be affordable and with up-to-date technology. However, the launch of Spice Stellar Horizon and Stellar Craze was delayed due to some shipment related problems earlier, but now Spice Stellar Craze is available in the market at a price of just Rs 6,499. Other phones of this series are still not available in the market yet, but it will be available in the market soon. The Spice Stellar Horizon and Spice Stellar Craze are equipped with Netqin antivirus which is preloaded inside these Spice Mobiles to protect form corrupt data and viruses. Spice Stellar Horizon price is 11,999 INR whereas as Spice Stellar Craze price is 6,499 INR.  The other one, i.e., Spice Mi-425 price is 10,000 INR with different specifications.

Spice Stellar Craze Mi-355 comes with smaller touchscreen added with satisfactory specifications. These Spice mobiles are attached with Gingerbread OS. These Spice mobiles are attached with a Glass cover and are much lighter to hold. The other Spice Stellar Craze Mi-355 specifications include a capacitivetouchscreen (3.5-inches), Qualcomm processor 800 MHz, rear camera with (5- pixel) and also a front faced camera with (0.3- pixel) resolutions and 1420 mAh battery power. Spice Stellar Craze pictures reveal that these are slim and are available in sleek black color. It is also equipped with features like 3G, Bluetooth, WiFi, A-GPS, 32 GB expandable memory, WiFi-tethering etc. It is quite surprising that the phone is available with such features and that too, at such low prices. On the other hand, Spice Stellar Horizon features suggest that these Smartphones run over a 2150 mAh battery power. Spice Dual SIM Stellar Craze Mi-355 launched.

Spice Stellar Horizon features include a touchscreencapacitive(5-inches), Snapdragon processor (dual 1GHz), 512 RAM, Android ICS, Internal memory of 4 GB (expandable upto 32 GB), rear camera with autofocus mode (5 pixel) and also a front faced VGA camera. Spice Stellar Horizon pictures reveal that these are also slim and will be available in sleek black color. One can thus easily conclude, that Spice is yet to make its mark in Indian mobile industry but still, it is launching some of the powerful phones in affordable price range, which will definitely help it to make its position strong among other cellphone manufacturers. These Stellar series will surely help it make its name in Smartphone segment too. Spice is present in Indian market from past many years and has been manufacturing the cellphones mainly for common people as it didn’t launched any of the smartphone all these years, but with Stellar series, it has entered in that segment too. I shared that iPhone 5 is the thinnest mobile ever.
