There's something for everyone, the list of handset that have recently been announced. New models are adopting styles and systems that incorporate all of today's trends and requirements for the modern day mobile community.


Latest Mobile  Modern Day Mobile PhoneDell Thunder: From laptops and other computer paraphernalia, Dell has now gotten into the mobile phone business and recently announced a slew of new mobile handsets after their Dell Mini 3i debuted last year in China. The Dell Thunder is an Android powered touchscreen handset that features some heave specs that include a 4.1-inch multi-touch enabled display with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution and an 8MP camera. Android v2.1 is the operating system the company has gone with and Dell has also designed a customer UI called Stage to help enhance the overall mobile experience.

Some of the other feature that the Thunder comes loaded with include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP and GPS. The handsets 1 GHz Snapdragon processor should ensure smooth functioning of the handset overall but this totally touchscreen handset also has quite a bit too offer even the looks department.

Nokia N8: It's taken awhile but Nokia has finally announced their first edition to the 12 megapixel camera phone genre. The N8 is a funky looking touchscreen handset that’s loaded with this HD camera with a xenon flash that Nokia has incorporated with features like Face and Smile Detection. Some of these features are making their debut as native functions to Nokia’s high-end camera range. The N8 will also features the new Symbian ^3 OS with a funky new look that will also support multi-touch, another Nokia first.

Amongst its arsenal of features 16GB of internal memory plus microSD card support, 3G and Wi-Fi support are also part of the package. What will make this handset stand out amongst the other high end devices with HD cameras is the HDMI out option. The handset’s aluminum shell will be available in a wide range of colors making it quite a good looking handset as well.

After the announcement of Nintendo’s next Gen portable gaming console, the 3DS, the next development in portable 3D solution is Samsung’s W960 3D mobile handset with its 3.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen. There’s not too much data on the handset just yet but we know that it’s going to be running on Samsung’s TouchWiz UI version 2.0 and it will most likely feature a 3 megapixel camera and be 3G ready.

The technology behind the 3D is also still under wraps and in all certainty, it will much like their TVs with an option to switch from 3D viewing to normal mode. Just keep in mind though, lengthy durations of 3D viewing isn’t a good idea on a large display, it’s going to be far worse on the smaller. Motorola MB511 FlipOut: Motorola has never been one to design handsets that employ conventional styling. From the ultra sleek RAZR to the Aura and then the Backflip. The MOTOBLUR UI will ensure that social networkers are always in the look about what’s going on in their online lives and of course all of this will run on top of Google’s Android OS.
